dowel pin leak?

I have a small puddle that forms on the same location on the front rotor. So if it puddles on the top of the housing beside the Mazda tag it's not the dowel pin leak? I understood this is where it would leak. Someone set me staight here. If it's not, what else could it be on the front rotor?
Thanks

Yep, gotta rebuild to fix it. Until then run 20w50 oil if you don't already, it's a bit harder for thicker oil to leak.

You don't have to rebuild if you can live with the oil leak. It can be messy but does not seem to hurt the engine. I drove an engine for 4 years with a dowel pin leak with no problems. Engine finally blew an apex seal but had 281k on it by then. I probably put 80k or more on it while it had the leak. But they are right, if you want to fix it the only way is a rebuild or find another engine.
