Question Dowel pin leak

anyone know how to stop a dowel pin leak short of tearing the whole thing apart? I think that's where all this oil on my intake is coming from.I'm taking of the rats nest today so I'll know for sure soon. Just need to stop leak long enough to build a new motor, meanwhile I need one to get around in. Any help would be appreciated.

There's not a thing you can do. The damage is done, and the seal is breached, and that's that. But it is'nt going to drop dead on you if you take it easy on her till the rebuild.

However...Often times people think they have the dreaded leak of death when in fact their oil cooler lines are leaking all over the place. This happens with 12As that have the cooler under the filter on the top of the engine. (84-85)
Another source is the oil line set that feeds the carburetor from the metering pump. These can be cracked if they were hendled roughly.
-Of course, that means that the oil is'nt getting into the engine to do its job...

Remove all the ****, and put a garbage bag over you carburetor and a bread bag over the dizzy and spray it down at the car wash. Just use the sprayer judiciously.

You'll probably know after you drive home where the leak is coming from.

This may not be the best idea, I know, But how does stop leak affect rotors?
