It sounds "okay" but the ergonomics just plain SUCK...

You know, some Miatas had a nice factory Pioneer setup with CD player, it looks to be the same height (2.5 DIN) as the GSL/SE radio, and it's the proper silver color.
Yes, They DO look nice..

Well the black looks a touch out of place, but it's growing on me. I always have the option of re-doing my install w/ some kind of silver metal, or just painting the current bracket silver, but I'm really starting to like the look.

Waitaminute, Directfreak... I can't find TLoRaH anywhere in the US, not even Amazon.com carries it, I had to download it all off of Napster!

...or is that just what you did?

it's a song, and it's a CD, neither of which available in the US as far as I can tell...

but if it's not your system, ah, nevermind then. It depends on what type of music you listen to... I first heard the song on a compilation of covers, and I loved it... I don't like the original, though. One of my favorite songs is on that CD, and even though I have every possible version of that song I still don't have a CD copy of the original. AFAICT the CD is basically like the rest of the late 80's Ministry albums, if you like them.

I thought of that too...

It's a nice backup plan... Maybe I'll try and pick one up and try it out in the GSL...

Ill try to get some pics of the pocket. We dont got a digital camera, so its a pain in the a**. Also, that little black controller thingy hooked up to that LCD and CD changer, its made by Sony for the Xplod systems. I was thinking of mounting one where the little joystick is since it no longer works. Only problem is FINDING that damn little thing. Nobody seems to have one!

What I did guys and it worked marvelously for me was, I took the stock decks big aluminum or stamped steel mounted bracket, and drilled 2 new holes to perfectly line up with the holes in the side of my deck at the top of the center, than with the spare glove compartment i screwed it into the back of the trim panel and now my cars got a deck than glove pocket glove pocket and it looked pretty stock looking, but of course i have an aftermarket deck... but... it worked good and made me happy and + no thief is ever gonna just pop my deck out, its held in by like 4 screws on the side of the bracket, and 4 that hold the bracket to the entire dashboard structure

Sorry its late, look at the pictures i edited into it simply put i drilled holes in the stock decks mounting bracket, and screwed my deck into the bracket...

My deck had some tappings in the side so i took some good measurements to make it line up perfectly and it did mounted in nice and solid and the perfect depth
