i haven't bought these (yet) but i've read a few post of people buying them before and they said that they're a perfect match ... they don't require too much stretching or anything. They fit as if they're an OEM product

I just put them on my 7. They are awesome. I have no problems with it. Great stock replacement. They say to use weatherstrip glue but forget that you dont need it. Go for it you wont be sorry.

Seals very well, very happy with them. I wish he sold the window rubber as well.

64MGB (Rich) has those on his 85 and they look really nice. He said that they went on good and did not need modifying to work correctly. He did say, however that since they are new that you need to slam the doors a bit harder than normal (normal being old and worn out seals).

That is correct. I don't have the car on the road yet so I don't know how well they seal, but they were very easy to install, and look good. Good enough that I plan to do the same to my babied SA.

I also got it and it is quite easy to install. The only bump I ran into was the OE mounting pins need to be pried out before you can put in the new ones.

The new weatherstripping works great, but I thought it would cure my wind noise at highway speeds. It did not. I'm now looking into new window seals.

awesome product. i think i have to glue it down though cuz everytime i close the door, then open it, the strip comes of the railing. but ill wait. its probably just new and needs some breaking in.

Recheck your install. It sounds like the rubber isn't fully seated and locked in the channel. There is no need for adhesive.

today i just installed some new weather stripping from VB it fits excellent, and u have to really slam the door to make them shut! They have a nice good seal and are awesome replacements

Old nasty stripping, most likely original...

NEw ones fit nicely! no need for glue etc.

Slamming the door harder more than likely means you need to readjust the door hinges and strike. This is because over the years someone probably adjusted the door to close tightter against the old seals in an attempt fix them as they aged and started leaking. Not sure what the specs would be but a slow swing of an open door should result in it closing firmly. If you have to swing hard or give an extra push at the end then it needs to be a little looser.
