Red face done blowed up!

on my way home i was doing a g-tec hp run and blew my se up. the front rotor has no compression at all. can i install new apex seals and side seals or is the rotor housing usually trashed. an help would be good!

When you tear apart a rotary, you want to replace all of the seals with a new rebuild kit, which usually costs more than another motor. So my advice is to get another motor, but that is just me. You would want your rotor housing to be nice and smooth if, it isn't you could get another one. But you have to replace usually all the seals when you take a rotary apart for it to last.

if you lose an apex seal, the chances of catastrophic damage to the rotor housings are great.

is there any way to tell if the apex seal nis gone with out taking the motor apart?

Yea, remove the exhaust and look in the ports while someone turns the engine around by hand. You should see whats up that way.

can the 2nd gen 13b be put in the 1st gen if i switch all the feul inj. stuff over? i know the se is a 6 port. will the intake still work on a 2nd gen or should i just switch everything from the 2nd gen to my se?
