'84 GS -12a streetport + S4 turbo and other important mods. At 9psi~140+mph. Never can find out really, speed rating is h-rated. Also with stock 12a+LSD=7000rpm@135mph. 140mph is 7500rpm.

yeah, rpm's. the GS is around 4300-4500 rpms @ 100 mph. and the -SE @ 100 mph is much higher, not sure need to drive it.

140 speed limiter in my Eclipse GST. 60 in the 7 due to unbalanced tires. I did manage to shake the drivers side mirror off.

I've done 155mph in an extensively modified '81 J-Port before starting to run out of road, then shortly afterwards, brakes. Wouldn't do it again without much better wheel bearings. Actually, I don't think I'll be doing it again full stop.

152mph in a Frieghtliner with a 425 Cat and a turned around 13 speed with OD. Grossing 83000lbs on I-40 across Az. Did it often when I was on the road, kinda like not moving at all with the air ride!
123mph in my 85 SE.

105 last week, crested a hill and saw a trooper on the side of the road. Somehow he missed me though...

Done 150 in my rx8, only had the ro-spit up to 110, but there is plenty more there. RX-8 is rock solid at high speeds.

123mph in my 85 SE.

Could you imagine the momentum that thing must have had at 152mph?!?!?

I want to see a video of an 18-wheeler hitting a stopped car at 152 mph... That would be so crazy.

it seems that everyones car has some sort of problem...I go over a 100 MPH daily. I buried the needle on my 84' SE...I feel that my car is pretty stable at those high speeds...there was one time I was doing about 130 MPH and the driveshaft U-joints went bad...was a really bad vibration...drove it home at 20 MPH all the way back from the I-95...put it over the pit and replaced the driveshaft with a new one from Mazdaspeed for $300 drove smooth again right after...

The bullet-shaped front ends on our cars are notoriously lightweight at high speed. Why do you think racecars need front airdams?

fastest I've gone in my -se is 55, but I was driving it very illegally, and trying to keep it quiet (not easy when I have a wide open custom exhaust and busted muffler)

took my 87 base up to 110, felt solid as a rock, but my tires were crap so I gave off

took my moms 01 accord to 118-120, shook like hell.

took my 86 maxima station wagon to 90. again, shook like hell.

fastest I've gone is 130 in my friends (01?) ss impala, which can now go 150+. (mods done and taken governer off)

120 - 98 Ford Countour
125 - 90 Eagle Premier
85+ - 82 Rx7 GSL - I don't know how far past 85, cause that's when the speedo stops, I'm guessing 100+ not sure though.

Just joined today. Been to 115 in both my 79RX7's and about the same in by 85GSL-SE, but it would go faster.

In my 1995 Maxima SE I ran the needle about 1/2" or so past 220 kmh which is as I as it read, so I must have been going 230 to 235 kmh, or 143 to 146 mph - saw God twice and shut it down!

Never saw a car parked in the middle of the interstate but I would imagine that it wouldn't be nothin nice!
