I dont have a pressure guage on my reg so I am going setting pressure by the float bowl, does fuel pressure change the final A/F ration. just wondering because I will be rejetting my carb soon.

well ... based on my VERY, VERY, VERY limited understanding, i would tend to think your A/F ratio would be more sensitive to volume issues as opposed to pressure issues. but i ... THINK ... if the pressure is too high, then it will affect the A/F ratio in a carbureted engine. does that make sense????

it does 82streetracer. What it does it regulates the rate at which the bowls get filled so at the end it does affect the a/f mixture ever so slightly. I've notice slight changes with the fuel pressure..but not that great, usually I notice in top end power...someothers can tell you better that is due to the uncovering of the air holes in the emulsion tubes in relation to the fuel level.

I don't know what you mean to set the fuel press by the float bowl like you mentioned. If it's by slowly adjusting a bit at a time and testing the car and making sure it doesn't flood then yeap that is the way I set mine too. The gauge is not that good of a monitor anyhow I use mine as a base reading so as to know I'm not pumping like 7 psi or so...but once on the low end forget it my autometer gauge (mechanical BTW) just doesn't cut it...
