Does anyone think the 1st gen section needs another moderator?
Just wondering if anyone would vote me in ?
I have owned an Rx-7 since 1985, theres not one bolt I havent turned on a FB/SA... EFI, turbos and -SE's arent my storngest points, but I have a good knowledge of what needs to be done etc. Plus It seems that I spend a great deal of time on here.... Might as well put it to better use
Im not wanting to demote or fire anyone, it just seems we need another person to archive good threads and take care of other stuff the other mods dont have time for
I can be reached VIA AOL IM @ MIKEANDSHANON
Thanks for your time
Maybe this will reach attn of the super mods and I can be voted in

A lot of cross chatter in posts? What then?
Vote for Mikey!
Anyone that would offer to fix my PIA oil leak for $20 is my kind of guy/Mod.
Seriously, he seems very sharp on these buggers, I appreciate all the tips he's given me, and the ones he's gonna give! Seems a logical choice.

I think the point is that the moderator should not be invisible until a thread is closed or stuff is moved. If you're a moderator in the 1stgen section, then it seems you should have one and you should be an active participant in the forum you moderate...I, for one, would like to see a little bit more RX7passion posting or chiming in on the posts so that some kind of personality can be gleaned from those postings...

[QUOTE] MIKE-P-28: we need another person to archive good threads..
Mike, I don't know what this means - and I don't know what the benefits of that are, compared to doing a "search" on the first-gen forum. Would archiving give us more stickies at the top of the forum?.. we're already getting maxxed out with stickies.
Blair and Ken are first-rate space modulators, and have been for a long time, but I do want to understand what you're talking about.. thanks!

Variety is the spice of life and the more characters on the stage, the more variety we all enjoy. I'm not talking about starting new threads with info. I'm talking about chiming in with your 2 cents like Felix, peejay or pele who clearly have a wealth of knowledge to share. The people regularly joining new on this Forum have to be gently prodded to the search button, but it's useful to the newbie to get direct answers from the gurus at first as they get acclimated to the idiosyncracies of this website. That, and I'm still trying to figure out what obscene position your avatar represents...
