does anyone have ...

an extra hood for an 84 with no rust? I was putting the hood back in place today (I finall have the engine 95% complete , just a few small details to work out) and I f@#king dropped it !! I have tried everything I know to fix it and I still have a huge crease in it . So if anyone has a hood with no dents , creases , or rust I'm highly interested. The color , and paint condition doesnt matter, I can even deal with scratches .

Please help!!!

peace

Looking at your sig, you have a couple of donor cars. The Hood is the same on all FB's, they aren't year specific. Can you use one of the others?

If you could make the horrendously long trip to TX, I have one and know of a half dozen in a local junkyard. This kind of stuff is almost impossible to ship without getting damaged, though...

Ok. I guess not. Have you tried just getting a new one from Mazda? Check a local body-shop and see if they will order you one at their price. Back in 94, I ordered a new one for my SE for like $120.

Anyone that comes here can crash in the kids room or on the sofa bed

No friend of mine is paying for a cheap sleaze bag motel, when they can stay in my sleazy house

sweet , thanks for the invite , might just have to come sooner to get that engine from you (could use the money saved to finance the trip and give me a good excuse to get out of redneck-ricers-from-hell state capital (more vinal here then the 70's and 80's music fanatics combined)

Im gonna go check my finances and see when I can make the trip (only after the car is running aand insured)

I've a hood, zero rust, but the shipping would probably cost more than buying a new one from Mazda
