Does any one want to share their porting template?

I'm building a 4port 13B and was wondering if anyone wants to share their streetport template online?

Thanks, Ed

Why template?

Get a degree wheel and mark something out yourself.

The template just helps you define opening and closing times... the "meat" of the port (how it transitions) is entirely up to the porter, and is the most important part of the porting job. Port timing is almost trivial in comparison.

I could send you a copy of mine, RB TII template. I'll just scribe the port onto a piece of aluminum sheet and send it to you. You can cut the port out of the alum sheet, the use it. You won't be able to use the dowel pins to align it the template, but you don't need to anyway. Just align the template with the port at the bottom and inner side of the port and scribe it onto the housing.

Send me a PM if you want me to do this for you.

Peejay is right though, the timing isn't nearly as important as the transition from the runner to the port.

template

I would appreciate that very much! It doesnt even have to be on aluminum. I just need an outline the bigger port.

Thanks, Ed
