I have run out of gas twice. Thinking that non existent fuel light would warn me. When I get around 300 miles. It's time to fill up reguardless. Sc

I usually fill up around 250 miles to be safe, but there is still plenty in there, You should be able to get at least 300 per tank assuming its stock...

yea, if you are running low as indicated by the gauge, its time to fill up. screw relying on some dummy light to tell you when to get gas..

hmm not a bad idea. the FC's always read low, like it will be on E and then it'll only take 13-14gallons, when its a 16 gallon tank.

So I got gas at 231 miles. The fill up took 13 gallons + 7 ounces premix and a Lucas fuel system cleaner.

231/13 = 17.7 MPG

That is city/highway combined

Must be one of the lucky ones. When my gauge gets to the red, I've got about a gallon left. Ran out once! Doh! Literally 1/2mile from the fuel station.

315miles on a tank generally.

Like others said, no fuel warning light.

If you swap in a GSL-SE fuel tank you'll get the extra wire for the low fuel light. I'm going to drill a hole and put a LED in my fuel gauge and run the wire up. Should be easy and a bonus. Just as soon as I get my TII harness sorted out and the engine running on the stand it'll all go in!
