I might add that you should be more specific, Permatex makes everything from belt dressing to muffler bandages. But no, don't use any form-a-gasket or (Heaven forbid) Silicone RTV on carb gaskets or there'll be big trouble for moose and squirrel.

LOL Boris,,,,,,,,,,,I mean WG. You can use a gasket dressing like hylomar or a little grease so the gaskets wont stick and will be re-useable. But any sealer is un-necessary.
