I found the sticker on the door post that shows month/year, but is there any way to find the actual day? I know later year cars had some date codes like 33698 which would be three hundred thirty sixth day of 1998. What about our cars?
Just curious and looking for another holiday to celebrate!

 

Hmmm, that would be interesting to find out. I know I bought my car on May 25, 1978, but I don't know the build date. I sent to England to get the build info on the '64 MGB I restored a couple of years ago...I wonder if there is a way to find the build date for our '7s?

 

I bought mine on December 28, 1979 (1980 "S" 4-Speed).
Hard to believe I've had it over 25 years!!!
Don't know the build date.

 

I would have to look just to be sure but I think my 7"s build date was march of 82...
