Angry A sad day for my Rx7 :-(

Well I finally did it... I messed up my car... pretty good 2 (If im going to do something im going to do it right). Gota Love Ice... If you want to have a nice 1st gen never move to Long Island Ny Because of the wonderful Job they do plowing the roads in the winter when it snows.... today I hit a patch of ice.... did about 2 360s... jumped a curb...hit a fence (or what was left of a fence)... and smacked my driver side rear rim in to a curb.... well after the shock of totally losing control of the car went away I got out to look... and there was the pushed in front bummer and the cracked with a chunk missing (chunk still attached) rear driver side rim.... ooo and of course it was also leaning inwards (well I guess the situation just made the decision about doing the axel swap from a gsl-se). I don’t know im sick to stomach... Ill take some pics tomorrow to show the mess I made... Ugh :-(

Geeze, I was passing through the sub-forums and saw this post. I'm so sorry to hear what happened! I know this sounds moot but, it sounds like you're ok physically and that's the first thing you should keep in perspective. We've all seen too many RX7's on this forum get banged up and totalled. Another one doesn't just doesn't help the cause. If you can, focus on making money (Job to pay for repairs), personal obligations (i.e. family, etc.) and then car repair (or something like that). Keeps you from dwelling on mistakes.

Yea... me and my bf Danny (the original owner... the car was a birthday/start learning how to work on cars present) are ok... rattled but ok.... But my baby is sitting at the end of the drive way all smacked up... its rather hard not to think about it cuz I have become addicted to the damn car... its like crack LOL... o well like I said it will just force me to do the things I was putting off (like body work).
Thanks for the support guys I need it...

Jessica

Glad you're okay. Good luck with the repairs...

How well did the Kosei K1's take the hit? Were they the Lightweight version or the DOT legal version? Pics?
