Do i need the carb hoses???

So, i got the power pulse air filter assembly(79-85). The new carb hat thing has nothing for the hoses from the original carb. Do i need these?? Will it affect anything if its not filtered? There are 5 hoses to let you know. I already ran it, it ran great. Everything was fine, great idle, everything. Thanks for any help. God bless.

The Power Pulse is usually an adjucnt to the rats nest removal. Do you have emissions testing there? If not, go back and do step 1 since you have done step 2.

If you can pass emissions with the PP, fine, just make sure you have the hoses plugged and no vacuum leaks.

When you where looking at buying the item and it says it had no provisions for the tubes what did you think? If you want to keep it factory I'm sure you could find some one to easily tap your old plugs into the new PP.

I was going too, but you brought it to the top. Infact, the other thread i started was just to say my thoughts about the product.
