Cool DIY: Minitub/4 Link

Finally got a chance to cut on the car this weekend. I had to cut out the cage and remove the fuel tank first. I only got one side cut out since it's 19 degrees outside. I still have lots of trimming to do but the 325's fit nicely, I thought that I might have to notch the frame towards the rear but it looks like I don't need to. 2 inches of clearance up top so I might be able to lower it a tad more.

Are you using the stock tank or an aftermarket one.

If you are using stock, where might it be relocated to?

Got the passenger tub cut out and have both wheels in place. From wheel flange to wheel flange, the measurement is 44" 15/16.

My moser axles are for a rearend that's 45" 7/16. I wonder if I can use my axles without having a .5" cut off. I'd hate to have to send off my axles to be cut again.

5 degrees? *****... It was -10* and between -22* and -30* with the wind two weeks ago in Houghton.

Other tub looks good, when do you think the first run at the strip will be?

Today and tomorrow is a good day to work on it Eric. It's nice and warm outside.

I'm done for today, but will be cutting more this weekend with the nice weather. I was sweating outside today

This car will see the street before it will see the track. But yes, it will see the street 99% of the time.
