Yes they fit. Not all rx3's came with 12a's. My mates (see signature) 73 had a 10a when he first got it. Now it's a 13b series 5 turbo monster. Anyway, good luck with the car, they are awesome when clean.

It simply says MAZDA on the engine on 12A anywhere and it looks smaller, sure as heck simpeler . Dont know if it is froze or not , all that comes next after a bath.

If its not marked 12A and it looks physically smaller than its probably the 10A. As mentioned, anything up to a 13B will fit. I would suggest keeping the 10A though. They are VERY hard to find. I've only once seen one for sale.

Question

Washed it today , took three soaks and a power washer. the firewall plate says 12 A and some numbers, the top of the rotors say MAZDA in raised cast letters. the rotors appear to be 6 cm thick, the cast letters have stamped behind them the word automobiles. It was sold in Fairbanks Alaska and has a full compliment of electric block and battery heaters Says RX3 rotry wagon on the fenders and front. Where are the engine numbers stamped on the engine? The whole engine looks small.

Its a 10A for sure. The 12A has 7 cm thick rotors and the 13B has 8 cm thick rotors I believe.
