direct fire ignition
can anyone help me out? my friend just ran direct fire ignition for me and i have seemed to have lost some hp...and the engine misses? i dont understand, whats wrong....i have two msd blaster coils for the leading and a stock mazda coil for the trailing....and two ignitors......the whole setup.. I think maybe my timing is off? thanks for any help

He's done a great job and put together all of the info. you need to hook this up and includes a wiring diagram etc. Also explains everything (timing,etc.).
You might also want to check all of the wiring hook-ups to make sure nothing has come loose. I had a similar problem when one of the wires came off a leading coil. Hooked it back up and....voila, everything was once again, aaallll ggood!!!!

I had the same thing happen with my MSD that i ran. I Installed it, and my car started to have no power over 4k and had a lot of detonation. So i pulled it apart, rewired the Signal wires and insulted them and it works like a dream now. I would check to make sure your signal wires aren't arching anywhere.
