differential interchangability

just got a few questions about diff interchangability for an 85 GS.

I would like to know (and i have searched and looked at the FSM) if the axles for a GS and a GSL-SE are the same length.

I have a rear end from an SE and i want the LSD in my GS. Will the pumpkin from the SE fit into the GS?

Lastly, would i be able to take the rear end from the SE and use GS axles so i can keep the same bolt pattern?

Thanks!!

#1). Yes
#2). Yes
#3). No. Drum brakes have a 4 bolt pattern to attach the backing plate to the axle while disk brake models have a 3 bolt pattern.
