Since it was the last year for them, the 1st gen didnt get any changes for 85...except for a slight change in wheel width.
I have an 84 FSM,its part number 9999-95-018B-84

Theres lots of info, but the fact that its pages are black and white xerox copies really sucks.Very little is legible in the way of pictures, and there arent a lot of clear diagrams....pretty cheap for a factory product. My S5 manual on the other hand is a work of art, albeit smaller.

The only online manual I've seen is in the 1st gen FAQ, fourth question down

This is something I have been curious about since I picked up an 84 S model a few weeks ago. It had the steel wheels that resemble the regular GS/GSL rims, but had 155s on it as opposed to the 185s I have on my 85 GS. They looked like they belonged on a small boat trailer or something.
So I guess my question is are there any width differences between the steel S rims and the GSL rims?

84-85 are basically the same book. 85 book has the wiring diagram, and the 84 is seperate. and oh, yeah, the 85 is blue and the 84 is green
