Did I just blow a fusible link?

Okay, I was just out installing new conversion headlights and wiring harness for my car. Then came time to find a power output. The power wires wouldn't fit onto the main battery terminal's screw, so the only other place I could figure was to try the main screw for the power wire that leads from the (+) terminal to the fusible links. I go to unscrew the screw when I hear a click noise. I look over and noticed that my power door locks locked. Figured that when power is disrupted, the locks engage. But, I still have power all around, dome light's still on, power locks still work. I decide to keep unscrewing the screw when I notice a tiny white spark come from the screw. My locks engage again. But, this time, I have no power. The dome light no longer works, the locks don't work, stick the key into the ignition and turn it, no accessory lights, nothing comes on.

Did I just blow a fusible link? I have no smoke coming from the fusible links, they still look fine. Is it still possible I blew the links? I did some searching, nothing came up that answered my question. Anyone know what happened?

BTW, I DO have a 2nd Gen's main fuse block and 8 guage wire, but no fuses (I can easily get some once I find a ride), if I did blow a link and need to upgrade.

Well, I feel smart. After going back out, and rechecking everything, I jiggled the screw into the fusible links and got another small spark. And, got power. Turns out that I didn't tighten the screw down enough so there was a tiny gap. Guess it just takes some more in-depth looking around.

Sorry for wasting thread space.

The upper and lower links are for the headlights, the middle one for the rest of the body. Do you have a multimeter? Ohm the link.

If you saw sparks and nothing works, the first thing to check would be a fuseable link. Check the links. Hope it's just a link. You can kinda pull back the cloth-covering on them to see if the wire is still intact, but I'm not sure the usual manner of checking for a bad link.

The fuses used in the FC block are a comon type fuse you could find at any auto store or wal-mart.
