Diamond Wheels and brake rotor screws, wtf?

on my diamond wheels..there's a clearance issue with the screw tha tholds the rotor in place(talking about the brakes here :P) did you have this same issue? i might have to tap a small hole in my rim to get it to fit properly...

What the hell happened? Did you make Carl your bitch and forget to tell everyone?
...He's a sheriff now. That makes him "Mr. Carl" to you, boy!
(& no, I don't know the answer to your question.
)
Hey Sterling you need to change you nick to Lenny,
Then you can tell people to see Carl and Lenny for carb rebuilds and Mods
Sorry, you see all roads lead to The Simpsons
I would not recomend altering your rims unless you are 110% shure that doing so will not comprimise the intergrity of the rims.
I used to work in a garage and one time this guy came in for new tires, no problem, went to take is wheels off, and when I did I notaced a huge crak in the rim.
My boss emidiatly steped in and said that the car was not leaving on that wheel.
The guy had done just what you are talking about doing, and it caused the wheel to fail.
I would not recomend doing it.

I have some Centerline rims that had the same problem, just lose the screws, they're just there to hold the rotor to the hub until you put on the wheel and wheel bolts which then clamp the rotor against the hub.

Mazda put them there because they did not want the rotor to fall off when somebody took the rear wheel off the car.
Don't need them, but I would never throw away a orginal OEM part..... Just look inside my garage sometime and you will see that I speak the truth.

Did you just invite the entire forum over to your garage?!
Do you seriously have enough beer for that?
i removed the screws
been trying to figure out why the heck the tires were wobbling...bearing? axles? wtf..lol, then i took off a wheel and noticed the mark the screw left on the wheel..as well as the flattened head of the screw.
the wobbling was actually robbing some power, ESPECIALLY in the upper RPM.
i thought i was gonna have to spend some cash

DO NOT DRILL INTO YOUR WHEELS. That could be dangerous.
