Aren't demon carbs a variable venturi setup? I've always been tempted to try one of those on a rotary... definitely post how it works out.

I was very close to using one that I had but ended up selling it. The guy I sold it to put it on his Rx2 and he absolutely loves it. I havent seen it on the car or heard it running but he's happy! Try an Edelbrock, thats a carb you will absolutely fall in love with.

ha....sweet. so looks like this is new territory? thats cool, the only thing really holding the big day away is two exhaust studs...theyre bent and rusted somethin fierce haha, and i cant thread any nuts on past like 2 threads, so does anyone know of any tricks on getting them out of the housing? other than welding the nuts to the studs and busting them loose that way...ideas?
but yea i hope it runs like i hope it will, definitely keep you guys posted...

Been there done that. Mine had a sticky throttle plate issue, no support from the dealer or manufacturer. Sitting in a box in my garage now.

Not new territory. Speed Demon 575 (not jr.) on a 13B 4 port. Cranks instantly. I MEAN RIGHT NOW! Great throttle response. No bogging. No complaints. I went with the manual choke and mechanical secondaries. Takes a little rigging to adapt new throttle cable because the alternator is in nearly in the way, etc. but nothing major.

Care to share the setup info for that Speed Demon 575 Mr. Grimes? Jetting, intake manifold, fuel pressure etc? I'd be interested to know more details. Thanks.
