Dellorto 48 Pics
Hi guys, I just picked up a reasonably priced Dellorto 48 and was wondering if anyone could post some pics with their install as a side draft? I am interested in throttle bracket and OMP installation. I believe this one came from racing beat. Also, where to install the brake and distributor vacuum sources.
Thanks

Heres some old pics of my dell setup. I have a T on threaded into the manfold on the side to
take off vacuum for the brakes and also from a PVC vaolve connected to the middle iron vent
near the base of the oil fill tube.

Great thanks, I guess my Dellorto is the Racing Beat prepped one as it has a couple of small long hose fittings coming out of the body for the OMP.
By any chance do you know which jets and needle you were running? Or which ones I need for non-ported 12A?
Thanks

You should consult this site Gruntled.com - Dellorto Intake System. He has documented a lot about
the RB Dell setup, installation and jetting for various configurations.

You could do that, or you could do what I did and buy a really really nice, adjustable throttle linkage kit. Here is my setup (my engine is currently blown as **** and the ca is 1700 miles away in pieces, but I digress). I didn't get to drive the car much, but the throttle feel was really good with this kit and it's highly adjustable (i think there are 9 separate adjustments)
Mine uses two throttle cables and the installation was slightly tricky but not too bad.
Available from here:

I think they are about $100. Not cheap, but high quality.
Edit: I converted to premix, so I can't offer any OMP suggestions, sorry.
