Dead gauges and warning lights

This is my 83 daily driver.
When I turn the key, none of the warning lights come on. After it starts, the battery and exhaust overheat lights stay on, and the tach doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Blown fuse. All good now. I have no idea why it blew.

I spoke too soon. As soon as I put it in reverse, the meter fuse blows.

Try unplugging the reverse light wiring from the reverse switch.

one of the wires to the reverse switch needed a little insulation repair.
