guage lights

i was wondering if anyone has ever taken out the lights that shine on the needles??

i took out all the lights in my gauge cluster, when i put in my indaglo gauges

You can, I taped over mine once to see the difference. Makes driving at night pretty impossible in speed zones. There is no light that shines in the needles like most cars, only the lights that shine on the needles. Hence you only see te backlit gauges, but no needles, just a black moving stick.
