Question dash

im sick of my faded red dash (85 gsl), ok to paint it do i have to take the dash out??, or what, what kind of paint do i use. need some help!! have any of you guys done this, run into any problems???.

if i had to take the dash out, do i have to take out the windshield???? HELP

Go to an auto paint store and find SEM for plasics and vinyl. I had a brown interior and used 'coffee mocha' color and it looked great...sort of a maroon.
Follow the directions EXACTLY and you'll be please with the results. I just covered the windshield with newspaper and masking tape, also masked the switches and gauges.
