Im haveing hell getting my car to start and idle under 3000

I have to pour gas into the secondaries to get it started up, even then it takes a minute of cranking

and when its running, its fine above 2500, but anywhere below it starts missing, then dies

Ive sealed up everything on the intake, rebuilt the carb, and the compression was checked when i bought the engine, new plugs

anything im missing???

well, check the timing and hold old is the distributor cap thats on there? if it is stock id replace cap an rotor.
