I would think that all of the mounting screws are necessary with a trunk full of "rattle your car" stereo equipment

But thats just me

Quick question. After all this good stuff in the trunk did they not take the time to mold in the surround of your stereo?

Overall 2 thumbs up!

Thanks, It looks to just be a trim ring. I was a little disappointed with this, but I just wanted my car back. I am going to ask them to do something different. What would u suggest? They did use the factory radio bracket so this headunit is mounted very well.

Have them use the trim ring but bondo that in so it's smooth and flush against the radio and paint the surround.

Thanks, the head unit was a last minute change. I am going to have them do that. I checked one of your other pics so I see what you are taking about.

Digital Design subs are badass.

Yeah, have them fix the headunit. Does not look right with all the other stuff.

Thanks. Looks nice and is soft to the touch. Took lots of sanding to get the logo just right.

nice looking stuff, but i on the other hand liked another forum member's setup, mike or max with the red gsl-se where he had his sub's hidden behind the taillights, because i for one like trunk space, and am a lil scared to be showing off some serious sounds around my neighbor hood since there have been many ppl robbing car stereo equip, still very clean lookin setup's on both of yours

Thanks, this is not a daily and just a weekend toy for so trunk space is no big deal. My neighborhood is safe with swat officer living at the end of the culdesac and an FBI agent 2 doors down. Plus my **** is protected by viper and glock.

Actually if it was facing backwards firing to the back it would really bounce off.

because if he did that the hatch would become the "box" if you will... it would be like flipping the box inside out.

No offence, but its not all that special ... nor that hard to do something like that. I was really hoping for something extremely nice but I guess I expected too much from the name of the thread.

I am running so much power to this sub that it wouldn't make a difference which way it was pointing. The overall bass response would be the same, loud as f@%$.

Yea, Almost cant believe how hard they hit.
We got a 142 out of 1 15 last year with only 600 watts.

Doing an 18 setup next week and hopping for a 150+ on it.
