Get some color matched paint. Ask a lordco to match your paint code.

Well I'm definitively not the first to do this, so go ahead, you won't be copying me.

I was thinking of doing this, than seen an FB at a car show with a home made scoop, so I was like yeah I can do that myself.

I thought I was the only one having trouble with those things... I have to take a fender off to fix a nice dent in it from a guardrail, some ******* truck decided to nearly run me off the road on an exit and I nicked the rail...

I think you may be right about the damned weld thing, I sprayed it with silicon to get it to penetrate.

I can't wait to see your scoop when your done...

haven't updated the finished product yet, I was away hunting since Thursday, just got back Sunday.

I started the passenger side light before I left, got home today and bondoed, sanded, primed and painted it.

End result

The white doesn't match, but since both are painted the same white it kinda evens out. The pics came out blurry too.

Gonna put mesh in the vents, or just leave them open?

And does anyone have any pics of a vented passanger headlight cover that hooks up to the carb?

I think those are headlight washers on your front bumper right? With 2 vented light covers, it looks like you could give your car a refreshing drink while driving down the road!

Seriously though, it looks like you did a great job and I will have to give it a try myself when I can pick up a spare light cover.

Yeah those are head light sprayers. I don't think I'll put mesh in them, maybe some really fine stuff like in a screen door. But than I would have to take the lights back out to get the mesh in....sooo frig that.

Thanks for the complements.

Here's a clear pic.
