Custom instrument cluster

Does anyone have a custom instrument cluster? Just a thought that went through my head as I have to have the whole interior fixed up.

You painted a whole bunch of stuff black, You put black carpeting,
red pedals, aftermarket radio, and a regular GSL seats and door panels.

Also short throw shifter and savanna style mirrors.

Steering wheel also, if I am not mistaken. It is hard to see with all that black stuff in the way!
Is it just me, or are your petals 2 different shades of red? Do I get bones poits for that?

yes, i have yet to find a cover for that hole where the choke goes that is the matching color, all the ******* cars int he yards around here are 12a's
the passenger kick panel is still BROWN correct, i had the kick panesl from my 81 i was putting in and the passenger side is shaped differently so i am going to have to dye it with some fabric dye.

A year or so ago I recall seeing in the first gen section someone who had used a stock instrument cluster and installed custom aftermarket 2" gauges, Speedo and Tach (IIRC). It was all behind the 'glass' too. It was really, really awesome.. I've tried searching a bit, but can't find it.. It was truly an outstanding job..

Here's mine. Sorry for the glare in the pics. The gauges are Autometer Ultra-lites mounted in carbon fiber.

you can call this custom, if everything non-stock is accepted as being custom:

https://www.rx7club.com/vbgarage.php...type=im&id=877

Painted the surround red to match interior, selfmade gaugefaces (with Rotary Emotions text and logo's ) and an FC speedo because the car was going faster then the stock 210km/h thing was being able to do.
