I'm not complaining, i'm into the whole project $6, maybe $20 by time I get the 45s and build the y and the flange.

It sure beats the price for a used one.

Actually I'm already thinking about making another, after I get this one done and fitted, probably fix all the errors I made with this one.

Also, I'm just flying blind with this, its my first ever projrct of this perportion. All in all it's been a blast.

Its probably going to have an extended SP 12a might put a turbo on it after a while

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2250042

I'm in the process of aquiring another '81 rolling chassis so I can build a nice 13bt, so this one will probably stay a carbed 12a.

Dude, looks like you are planning on pretty much "Building" that RX7. I am assuming this is for the one you have been replacing the rear quater. Looks pretty good so far. My only recommendation would be to make sure the tubes are the same length before they are collected. A+ for effort!!!!!

If I had the time, itt'd take about a day to make them, I'm going to the local Harbor Freight and checking out a pipe bender of my own. I don't have the 6k plasma cutter I used on this one though.

The one and the same.

If this is the responce I'm getting I might make em and sell them at something like $30 over my cost, this is a total blast too.

That is exactly what I plan on doing. Whatever I make has to be better then the stock system. I think that I can even come up with an equal legnth system and put some good ideas into it.

I need a welder and time though now. . . . .

Good job on yours!

Well I goofed, I welded the pipes onto the flange upside down.

Which sucks but is good too, because I need to narrow the whole thing by about two inches.
