Created a website

Hey guys, just wanted to let you guys know, I've put my car up on a site. My goal is to show full progress from when I first got it, to where it is now, and then add whatever I do to it in the future.

I haven't gotten it up to what it is right now just yet, but it will be there in the coming weeks. I also wanted it to be a guide to other owners doing similiar things to their cars, has plenty of pics and tips on stuff I've done like changing the gas tank, replacing the beehive washers, the auto > 5spd swap, fuel tank senders, and some other stuff like that. Soon to be added will be the rebuild on my carb setup and some other random things like that. Hope you guys enjoy it, let me know what you think, and leave some notes on the guestbook.

Oh yea, I know the navigation sucks right now, I'll be working on that later, along with the aesthetics after I finish getting all my content up.

The first car goes up to 18 pages, and the second to two currently. There'll be a whack more updates soon, just keep checking back!

http://www.freewebs.com/84gs/ws.html

Thanks guys,

Nice site and nice car.

I don't know how that hosting works, but you might want to consider putting things under heading in the main page, rather than going through the whole set of pages just to get to one certain point. Might make the website a little more attractive.

Nice work either way. I've got a site on cardomain for my car, but its more or less just a mix and match of pics in no particular order. I'll have to redo the whole page afterward. Point is, get things in order and keep them in order, otherwise your better off just redoing the whole thing.

A web site can be invaluable for keeping track of your work, especially if you're doing a complete restore. I did that when I restored my MGB (http://64mgb.home.mchsi.com/). I connected a PC to my network in the garage and it was a huge help when I went to put things back together.

that tip about the fuel sender being access from the wheel well is ingenious ... good thing i read this today, i was going to drop the tank today to hook that thing up. I broke a wire when i was trying to put it up so i just have to reconnect it and this will prob save tons of time.

Excellent! thanks for taking the time and effort to put it together. I'll be referring back the fuel sender part soon.

Thanks guys,

Jose Feliciano- To make one, just find a host on the internet, and create pages through HTML or a program that will write it for you.

Sudox_E - You should, its wicked to see what kind of things others have done to their cars, and you can look back to the pics later for reference. It also helps out anyone needing to do anything similiar.

64mgb - Sweet work on the MGB, took a look at your site, very nice, very detailed.

And, if anyone sees any false info on the site, let me know lol. I don't want to be giving out any wrong info.

And, any feedback is welcome, I know the navigation sucks, I will fix that soon. Oh, and sign the guestbook!

Alright, I made some huge updates to the site, mostly in the layout, thought you guys might be interested in seeing whats new. I did also add an easier navigation bar so you dont have to next through all the pages anymore. Well, here it is:

www.frosted7.com

oh, and be sure to sign the guestbook if you visit!
