crazy question about making a quick 1st gen swaps
I've seen v8 swaps on the net and i'm wondering if and how hard it would be to do a 13b swap. I know that the turbo rats nest of tubes is a bit tricky but for the ultimate sports car I think it would be worth it. it'd be cool to see the faces of of drivers of so called "high end sports cars" as I blast past them but any and all info would be sweet. are there any guides/how-tos on the net? stupid question. My dad had a first gen while i was growing up and my brother has a third gen. what better than the combination of the two. thanks for taking the time to check me out.

most of the sites that are on the *** page are shut down or inactive. damn it!!! would it be an easy swap? what kind of specs(speed and the rest) would I see if I kept the stock 3rd gen computer settings? or would I have to go stand alone?

a TII swap will be simple if you use Stand Alone fuel management. but wiring in the stock harness is something that isn't commonly tied with the word "easy"

could you just use the the motor, tranny, and ecu from a t2? sorry about the miss spelling. what else would you need? what would a good stand alone cost, ease of use/programming and driveablity be? I'm not looking for anything super fancy, just a quick and relable rx-7 that can get the hel out of the way of insane soccer moms that have 1.5 kids, drive a 13 seater suv and yack on the phone while driving 30 over the limit and swerving into my lane! lol.
