"crankcase" Ventilation

I have a freshly built Bridgeport 12a with a 48 ida and am trying to figure out how to vent the crankcase, I have read all the threads about using a PCV and the only vacuum sources I have are on the intake manifold, so using a PCV hooked to the manifold is like a giant vac leak. Are there any others ways to vent the crankcase using vacuum or do I let it vent out into the atmosphere? Thanks

i have mine T'd into the vac line to the booster at the intake. the pcv is designed in such a way that it is a very small amount of vacuum draw on the crankcase. it doesn't create a "giant vac leak".

Well, if hooking vacuum to the crankcase vents is a huge leak then you have much
more serious issues with your engine

Heres the deal, putting vacuum on the crank vent and oil fill tube and running it
through a PCV correctly installed will not be a vacuum leak. First, the PCV valve will
only allow vacuum to operate when theres postive pressure on the engine side and
second, the crank case is pretty much sealed so once the trace vapors are pulled
out under vacuum it remains at vacuum until some more blowby happens or
something.
