cpracing really that bad?

i've been hearing a lot of bad things about www.cpracing.ca which is really starting to discourage me. they seem to have A LOT of things that i was looking into and cant find anywhere else. especially there series 3 stuff , 5 lug conversion ,big brake kit, flush headlight, fender flares ect ect. if they are really that bad can anyone tell me where to find these items from a more reliable source

ReSpeed (bwaits) offers the same type of brake kit, without the massive wait, and excellent customer service. Billy offers many great parts. Their ad appears every so often at the top here.........

Listen to Rogue, and Dan,

after hearing the horror stories about cp from many members of the forum, I had decided against using CP, when I ordered from Billy, (Respeed) I was a little worried, but the whole transaction was totally painless, the quality and fit of the parts was better than I had expected after reading about fitment from various stateside vendors.

and lastly Bwaits customer service is outstanding, no its in the mail type ****, no sorry I got busy. Just plain old fashioned good customer service.

I cannot give details about the brake kit, but I have purchased a custom part manufactured by ReSpeed. Quality was top notch, and it arrived within 3 days of placing the order. I had a couple questions about the item prior to ordering, and I e-mailed them. The response time was less than a day. After the order was placed, another e-mail arrived informing me of the part having shipped, and yet another e-mail was waiting for me when I got home the day it arrived.
If they go to that much trouble to insure a satisfied customer on a $21 order, I can only guess what they would do for a $100-200 (or more) order.
The quality of parts, and customer service I received is why I have not hesitated to recommend RESpeed to others, including Dan. The fact that bwaits also comes on this forum, and is willing to answer any questions about their products speaks volumes about the commitment to the customer.

Are you refering to the front or rear? If front, check the respeed link. For the rear, you can iether have your axles redrilled, or swap in a ford 8.8 or 9" rear, and most of those already have the same 5 lug pattern as the FC/FD.

just redrill the axles. any competant machine shop can do it. One of the lugs stays the same. weld in the other three, and then lay out new centers for the four new holes. drill press in studs voila 5 lug.

I just did mine about 2 weeks ago, and used a "V" block, the stock bearings, and dial guage indicator to find center used a scribe to lay out the new holes and drilled.
