cowl hoods

does anyone know a website that sells 2 inch or higher fiberglass cowl induction hood for FB's?

there are no readily available aftermarket hoods for our cars, there was one guy selling some TII style hoods on ebay, but its been months since
rotorhead.ca was supposed to be making some drop vented hood in CF or fiberglass, but i think they are still in development

Thanks, im probably going to end upg oing the custom made route my self. The cars got a pretty sweet fiberglass cowl hood on it right now that the last owner had but it wont clear my 4 inch k&n air filter

do you have a v8 under the hood?
edit: nevermind i just saw above your avatar, so be honest, is your rx7 pretty quick?
ive been contemplating an fb with a 383 stroker in it. not my DD just for a side fun track car, im all rotor baby!

as far as i know, the rotorhead hoods are available....they were a few months ago i know anyways (pretty sure)

do the conversion, you wont be sorry. The rotaries are great motors but peoples jaws drop when i tell them theres a 406 under the hood.

I think its safe to say its pretty quick.

hasnt been run yet, but im thinking 11.3's somewhere around there. should be mid to high 10's when i get the nitrous in november.

How big of a shot are you going to run? Great thing about the pissed-on engines is that you can run a large shot with less chance of running into problems.
