Okay, I am redoing my cooling system in preperation for my supercharger system im putting together.

Heres what I need to know.

What is the diameter of the radiator and water necks on the engine, im about to order some SS flex hoses.

Where can I get a low temp thermostat, or should I just stick with the stock one.

what about running without a thermostat? (while pluging the return port and putting a washer in the the stat housting to restrict flow)

I figured out the water neck size but what about the stat, can I get a lower temp one.

Use the stock stat. Get the genuine mazda one. Mazdatrix has them for $15

I have a brand new one sittin waiting for my 3core and SS hoses.

 

How much willl SS hoses cost?

 

Mine are SS braided, which are $39 for a 12in one. the in SS flex hose (much cooler) are like $80.
