There ain't no RX6. The Cosmo is the RX5, and the Luce is the Japanese designation for the RX4. The story was that the RX7 was so far ahead of it's rotary predecessors that they skipped a number.

Its written in a mazda handbook we've got somewhere about the place that they went r100 rx2 rx3 rx4 rx5 then rx7 cos rx6 was just to hard to come rolling of the touge. not cos japenese couldnt prenounce it its just x and 6 dont go together. not that this is obvious cos x and 7 have the same problem, ever heard a stutterer trying to talk bout 7s, quite humouros.
