Ok there are 2 different cosmo motors, the 20b three rotor and the 13b-RE 2 rotor. Most likely your talking about the 2 rotor since the 3 rotor is expensive to pull off.

The major difference between the 13b-re and the s5 tii is port and runner sizes. the RE ports are huge compared to a 13bt. Heres a writeup about a fc install but ti gives alot of general info:

The Cosmo 13B is twin turbo. It's not really feasible to keep these so you'd be looking at an aftermarket turbo.

Dollar for dollar the T2 will be cheaper. its all about money. If you got it then the Cosmo is the better choice.

seriously though ...

just go for a Gen II 13BT unless you either have the money to spend on the RE or you have very specific (and lofty) plans that would justify the extra coin. i'm pretty sure a 13B-T can make you plenty happy.

Its the Cosmo 2 rotor (jdm). Its the same price as a Turbo II. Just was wondering what is the better of the two. Will a Turbo II tranny bolt up to the cosmo??
