Cosmetic mods

I have made a few mods for convenience for those who might be interested. I managed to get some of the black cup-head bolts that are used to go through the rear glass. If you remove the door locks, these bolts fill the hole beautifully and (assuming you have fitted electric door locks) you can have keyless entry and the yobbos don't have a keyhole to jam their screwdriver in.

I also removed the four switches (windows, headlamp and rear wiper) from the console. Then made a possy for my bluetooth to go in the console instead. I removed the old graphic equaliser and had a panel made up to house the four switches from the console.

There was a toggle type switch that moved the sound around the speakers. I removed that, took out the console panel and attached my garage remote behind the hole left from the switch. Looks neat and I never wonder where the remote is anymore..

Cup heads

They are the genuiine Mazda part - the ones that go thru the rear galss and secure the gas struts. I ordered them thru Mazda but am not sure if they are still available in Australia. I may have got the last. Anyway, smalll enough to get sent from the US if need be

Thanks

Thanks for the feedback guys. Actually you have given mean idea - remove te rear wipers!! - Never use them anyway and the motor gets in the way of my golf bag. Looks like I will be in the market for another cuphead bolt!
