hi,
i just checked the level of my coolant in the jug beside the radiator,that is the coolant right? any way last time i checked it , it was at the full line and was all nice and green. But now the jug was empty with only a little bit of brown liquid at the bottom. I dont know what happened. is it ok to just fill up the coolant jug with water for know? this is like a overspill for the radiator right???

Thats what its called, a radiator overflow tank.

 

Yes, fill the overflow tank back up, get the cooling system pressure tested for leaks, fix the leak and then flush the system out and put the good stuff in.
