Silicone Vaccum hose seems to be holding up fine as well, its been on my car for a good 5 years with no issues.

Working fine for me, too, many years now. Hot coolant does not bother silicone (which is why we use it to seal gaskets) & vacuum line won't collapse on itself.

I'm sure fuel line would be fine, too. Just don't use vinyl tubing or anything like that.

I go to Lowes and get the clear nylon line, it's chemical safe. Not sure what it's intended for exactly, I also use it for fuel sometimes, as long as it isn't under pressure, works great. And, it's, clear..

Hmm clear hose would be pretty cool. Would be really sweet as fuel line so I could see my aqua blue colored premixed fuel. Do you think it would hold up to the 2psi my 12a fuel pump puts out?

I used it on my weber carb and was running 3/8's line, I ran 7 PSI at one point.
So, you could. You can actually get some clear line specifically for fuel on the web, look it up Joe.
