Punctuation....use it dude.

The first repair I ever made to the Mound was replacing the water pump, and I had zero car repair experience prior. Get a Haynes manual and go for it. The water pump is about $30 at the auto parts store.

Right on.

I would definatly would not be risking tryving a 7 when the pump is not working. Borow some money if you need to becouse if you oveheat it your motor is done for and then it will cost you a **** load more money to get it fixed.

You have 3 choices. Fix it. Park it. Drive it and replace the engine. You pick the one that works best for you.

How does he know the water pump isn't spinning? Have you removed your air pump? Are there two belts running over the water pump pulley? I think two is a must.

Heres the Punctuated Version

I pulled the water pump apart and tried to turn it i can't and i can feel with the engine sounds and power that its stuck aswell i know this by removing belts and listening to engine sound and at 5500 rpm its normal so i have no idea what to do i have to drave to the country in 3 days and i dont want to drive it at over 5500 rpm the whole time because it will overheat anyway Thanx.

That's the puncuated version?
You're crazy if you drive that car without replacing the pump. I have better uses of $2K US than to spend it on an engine that I mistreated.

My best advice is to put a for sale sign on it and sell it before you totaly destroy it. Over heating a rotary once can toast an engine.

I still stand by my first post in this thread. Park. Fix it. or Drive it and replace the motor. There is no way around the 3 choices, don't be thick headed, unless you can afford it.

Talking Water pump

Tripple ditto. No offense but if you can't afford $30-$40.00 in repairs maybe you should consider another form of transportation. Perhaps a Kangaroo

And perhaps the kangaroo can explain punctuation while you are riding it to work....

Come on are you kidding? No, do not drive it like that. If you over heat the motor than the $30 it would have cost you to replace the water pump just jumped up to a motor rebuild. **** man use your brain on this one. Rotories do not like to over heat!
The money your spending on the **** load of gas, use it to replace the water pump. It is a very simple process and a easy install!

DO NOT DRIVE IT AT ALL THE WAY IT IS UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY FOR A REBUILD!

Hope this help you see the light.
I tell you what, sell the car to someone that will enjoy it and take care of it before you trash it.
You need a truck with a bullet proof straight six in it. Those will run not matter what you do to them or what stupid things someone wants to try on them.

As an interesting aside, Revv Head is in Australia and it's winter there right now.

He's going to have a serious problem when it starts to warm up there again!

Preventative maintenance will save you a lot of time and headaches - highly recommend replacing that water pump before it kills the engine and leaves you stranded in the middle of nowhere. Where I live in AZ, this kind of thing can get you killed if you drive on less populated roads...

You were the one that said you didn't have any money to fix it. Not us.
I find it amazing that after all the money you dropped in the car, that you would even consider starting the thing with a bad water pump. You say you are an apprentice mechanic? I think you need to go back to auto mechanics common sense 101.
