Coolant, coolant, everywhere

Today I fired Nikki up, just to make sure she was still running, and while I was mounting my new Holley FPR, I noticed something that was never there before. Sitting on the front housing between it and the intake manifold was a puddle of coolant. There was also a good amount on the tarp underneath the car. Now I'm almost positive it's the O-rings in the manifold leaking, but I just wanted to throw this out there to see if anyone else had any ideas, before I go pulling the manifold off to put in freeze plugs. I have pictures, but they're on my home computer. I will load them up tomorrow at some point. Thanks guys.

Hit the nail on the head with that one. You said you were going to replace them with freeze plugs, but if you want some O rings, I just picked up a new gasket today and not using them. Free if you like.

20 mm freeze plugs if you go that route. I mix up a little J-B Weld, put a thin layer on the mateing surface, then wipe a coating over the joint after the plugs are tapped in.

No its definitly not the rad cap, I looked around at all my lines and the rad, and saw no coolant. I will double check but as I said, I'm pretty sure it's the mani. Thanks Jeezus but I'm just going to go with freeze plugs. And thats a good idea Troichoid, I was wondering if there was a better way then just putting some JB on the edge. Good thing I bought some over a year ago, now I finally have a use for it. Thanks for confirming my suspicions guys.

HAHA, hey whatever works right? I wound up spending about $50 at Carquest when all I really needed was 2 20mm plugs. Got them in and started stripping down the manifold. Hopefully it will stay warm enough here for me to finsih up soon.
