Coolant catch can

I just ordered this awesome coolant recovery can from Summit. I got ripped off though (47 bucks), but I needed one that is slim in design because I no longer have room in my engine bay for the old Mazda can (turbo piping etc.). Do you guys know if I can mount the CSI can horizontally? It's going to be attached to my strut bar. If this doesn't work then I'll mount it vertically somewhere. I'll post pics sometime later on after I sort all my **** out. Here's the Summit pic of the can.
