Exclamation Coolant buzzer constantly going off

Im checking this out for someone, i know next to nothing about 1st gens so please help a fellow 1st genner out. The coolant buzzer contiually goes off and there is plenty of coolant in the engine, as well as the engine temp is perfectly fine. I checked both probes in the radiator and there both connected as well. The only way i was able to get the buzzer to stop was to take out the engine fuse in the main relay under the dash. What could be causing this to go off?

Also this person bought a new windshield wiper motor assembly and after installing it it stops half way and the motor almost burns out. He mentioned somthing about it having to be set up right on the gears but he dident know where to set it.

Please any help would be appriciated, Thanks.

I had that problem. Plenty of coolant, but that loud *** buzzer would not stop.

I reached under the hood, by one of the headlight buckets. Found a little black relay thingy and just yanked it out. Problem solved. The dash light still worked, but the buzzer was silenced.

To this day I have no idea what purpose that black box served, how it fixed the buzzer, or how I made such a lucky guess.

Try to find it. I think it's on the wiring harness mess near the driver side headlight. Didn't seem to hurt anything, but I'm not exactly recommending it as a permanent solution.

Thats the oscillator. It makes the buzzer work. You didnt fix anything, you just got rid of the buzzer.

Thats the test for the system. Ground the harness wire to the sensor (top of radiator). If the buzzer and light silence, then its the sensor.

Look in the FSM for motor replacement.

Water can cause the buzzer to go off too. I have this issue whenever I clean the engine bay. Just a thought....

On the Wipers. My motor was good but one of the arms was frozen and would make it run real slow. I just swaped out the whole assemble for a good one I had.

I just have the light as well...
havn't solved mine yet as it doesn't go away when I ground the wire...

I have a feeling there's either a bad wire in mine or the coolant level sensor unit is dead... (the coolant level sensor unit was located under the dash on mine)

I have an FD but I had the same problem for the coolant light. Came to find that I had a bad connection down the line. There was another connection from the sensor right besides where the spark plugs are. I yanked enough of my hair finding that problem. Ensure good clean contact and if the problem is still there, replace the sensor. Hope that helps.
