Acctually all first gen's use the same lower control arm, front and rear, as well as the rear uppers and the watts link. Just a little FYI.

Riceburner is correct, i thought that there were some bolt size changes in 79-82
on mounting though, but further research proved wrong. Hey rice burner do you use brown rice or true japanesse sticky rice for fuel?, lol rx7doctor

Dude, we all know that MEXICAN rice gives the best combustion. Of course, where we gas burners add 2-stroke, the riceburners must add FRIJOLES. . . . which also give a satisfying backfire on deceleration. Or any other event that you wouldn't want a backfire.

Wait... do the control arms in the rear help prevent axle wrap? Whenever I hear "control arm", I think of the independent suspension (MacPherson) control arms up front.

When you say "all arms front and rear are the same", do you mean the front arms are the same as all other front arms, and the rear arms are the same as all other rear arms?

the 79-80 has the lower control arm like on the rx3,4 where the swaybar end passes thru it, where as the later models use stamped steel arms with swaybar end links.
