contour/mystique rims on a first gen?

what kind of rims do the 95-99 Contour or Mystique have? I was looking at a catalog that had Ford racing performance parts wheels for this year Contour or Mystique and it says "SVT Contour RWD fits 95-99 Contour and Mystique, available in: 16x6.5 with a bolt cirlce of

4x110mm"

I thought Contours were front wheel drive? Is the SVT a diff model (I do not know much about American cars).

Does someone know if the stock Contour/Mystique rims would fit on my rx-7 (if they are nice)? I thought only Mazda made the odd bolt pattern on the 7 and earlier rotaries and 626?

hmmm sounds interesting,
the contours even the svts are front wheel drive,
but i dont see any problem with using the rims if the fit,

im pretty sure the only diference in front wheel and rear wheel rims is that the front wheel rims are made stronger.

just looked at a Contour forum. The Contours/Mystiques have a 4x108mm (I remember someone posting something here about it before) bolt pattern. The stock SVT wheels (according to someone on that forum) has a offset of 49.5. What is the offset of my car? would they fit? They look pretty nice. (except for the snake in the middle of the rim)

Those wheels will stick about an inch outside the fender. The offset for the 4x110 is 25-28mm.

They are 4x108, not 4x110.

I would not use them, then again I'm pretty strange, I like when my wheels stay ON the car
