computer games with first gens?
None that I know of...
And I am going way back into the '80s with that...
There is Gran Turismo 3 that has an FC, FD, FE in it.
But that game pisses me off...
The HP gains from a port and Polish is nowhere near realistic for a Rotory engin, you only gain like 10HP, same with a free flowing exhaust.
Any way just a little rant on in Game physics and developer research.

For the PS2 platform, ther is Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero... they didn't have any official licenses, but they have vehicle look alikes... including first gens, also, you can cuztomize the aero and mechanics. http://www.gamesfirst.com/reviews/jeremyk/txr0/txr0.htm
I just bought Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero last week. It's freaking awesome. I have a 1st gen, 2nd gen and a 3rd gen now!!!
The great thing, is every mod you do affects performance in one way or another. and when you change the ground effects, you see it. I give it two thumbs way up.

I agree 100% Metallic_rock, I sold my ps2 to a friend cuz their kid wanted one real bad. I never beat that game, had like 8 more wanderers to go along with the ultimate guy, but those wanderers are some picky sob's.

Um the worst racing game ever has got to be Pit Stop from back in the day for the Commodor 64 and the Atari (the game was cartige based origannaly). Pit Stop II was much better.
But I guess I better get out of the way back machine befor all you younens start flaming me.

I haven't played it yet, but I think I remeber Auto Modellista was supposed to have a 1st gen in it. I can remeber shots of it, but can't remember the game. Was green and had GSL-SE style wheels...

i dunno...i played sega GT2002 for a couple of hors yesterday and i thought it was alot better than GT1...which i played for 10 hours the previous day...the graphics are stellar and there are plenty of cars with the proper sounds (rotary sound for rotaries) which is more than GT can say.
GT 2002 isn't that bad. Tho Turismo one, for what it did and how it was back when it came out is a damn fine game indeed.
RX8 - Project Gotham Racing
Rx7 Series 6 - Initial D (arcade coin-op)
The FB in GT 2002 is damn nice to look at..just to work it and then watch a reply taking it for a test drive is nice. Tho that's the only good thing about the game!

Hmmm it is very difficult to find good racing games. I've basically only played all the NFS games. I'm a little more into the 1st person shooter, y'know? Although I've heard Collin Mcrae is the best out there for game physics.
